American tennis player Tommy Paul and his wife Paige Lorenze have shared the first images from their wedding ceremony, which took place earlier this month at Old Westbury Gardens in Long Island, New York. The event was documented by Vogue, with photos taken by Cece Alana.
Paul, ranked No. 5 among American tennis players, wore a Burberry tuxedo for the occasion. Lorenze, founder and creative director of Dairy Boy, wore a Carolina Herrera gown designed by Wes Gordon. She told Vogue that the dress required five fittings and extensive discussions to finalize.
Lorenze also wore additional outfits throughout the celebration, including a Wiederhoeft corset and other Carolina Herrera dresses for pre-wedding events. Paul described the wedding as the "party of the decade" in his interview with Vogue, expressing anticipation for his future with Lorenze.
The couple met in 2022, reportedly after Paul began liking Lorenze's social media posts and she initiated contact via direct message. They arranged to meet at the US Open in New York later that year. Paul proposed to Lorenze last summer on Nantucket.
The wedding venue, Old Westbury Gardens, was chosen for its atmosphere described by Lorenze as "grand yet intimate, romantic, historic, and filled with incredible architectural details."
Among the guests were fellow American tennis players Frances Tiafoe and Taylor Fritz. The article notes that Paul, Lorenze, Tiafoe, and Fritz are expected to return to New York in September for the US Open.
