American tennis player Tommy Paul and Paige Lorenze exchanged vows earlier this month at Old Westbury Gardens in Long Island, New York. The couple, who met in 2022, shared their wedding details and exclusive photos with Vogue, positioning their celebration as a standout event of the season.

Paul, ranked No. 5 among American tennis players, described the event to Vogue as "the party of the decade." Lorenze, the founder and creative director of Dairy Boy, wore a Carolina Herrera gown designed by Wes Gordon for the ceremony. She was involved in multiple fittings and extensive discussions to finalize the design for her wedding dress. Throughout the celebration, Lorenze also wore a Wiederhoeft corset and additional Carolina Herrera ensembles, including outfits for the rehearsal and for getting ready.

The couple's relationship began in 2022 when Paul started engaging with Lorenze's social media posts. Lorenze initiated contact via direct messages, leading to their first meeting at the US Open in New York later that year. "Tommy invited me to one of his matches," Lorenze stated, "and the rest is history."

Paul proposed to Lorenze on Nantucket last summer, a location significant to her due to childhood summers spent there with her grandparents. The wedding venue, Old Westbury Gardens, was chosen for its "grand yet intimate, romantic, historic, and filled with incredible architectural details," according to Lorenze.

Among the guests at the wedding were fellow American tennis players Frances Tiafoe and Taylor Fritz. The article notes that this gathering occurred while another high-profile event, involving Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, was also capturing public attention.

The newlyweds will be returning to New York in September for the US Open, four years after their initial meeting at the tournament.
