Tommy Mallet Details Dramatic Lifestyle Transformation

Reality television personality Tommy Mallet has shared details of his significant weight loss and broader lifestyle transformation, citing increased discipline as the key factor. The 34-year-old star of The Only Way Is Essex (TOWIE) revealed on Instagram that his journey began with a renewed focus on exercise, followed by abstaining from alcohol and adopting a healthier diet.

Mallet described his past self as being in a "terrible place physically and mentally," which he linked to the intense focus required to build his first company. He explained that he neglected his personal well-being in pursuit of success, which led to feelings of unwellness. This realization prompted him to learn more about his own mental processes and to implement changes he could control.

"I stopped drinking. I stopped eating things that I knew made me feel terrible afterwards. I started training consistently. I started looking after my mind as much as my body," Mallet stated. He emphasized that this transformation did not involve obsessive behavior, noting that he still enjoys food, including ice cream with his children, and maintains a balanced approach to life. He contrasted his previous belief that success required complete sacrifice with his current view that true success involves building a fulfilling life without losing oneself.

Mallet shared a shirtless selfie showcasing his physique alongside a before photo, illustrating the physical changes. However, he highlighted that the most profound shift was internal. "The biggest change between these two photos isn’t my body. It’s that I’m happier. More disciplined. More present. And I understand myself better than I ever have," he wrote. He advised that significant changes can begin with small, consistent steps, emphasizing that self-care is crucial for those pursuing ambitious goals.

This personal transformation follows a similar journey for Mallet's wife, Georgia Kousoulou, who earlier this year showcased her own weight loss of three stone. Kousoulou, 35, credited Pilates and consistent gym sessions for her improved physical condition and mental clarity. She has previously addressed speculation about using weight loss injections, asserting that her results were achieved through dedicated exercise and dietary control over an eight-month period following the birth of her second child.

Kousoulou welcomed her daughter Gigi with Mallet in 2024, after a previous miscarriage and undergoing IVF. She has been open about her fitness routine, often sharing her commitment to training several times a week for both physical and mental well-being.
