Tommy Lee Jones, 80, made a notable appearance on the red carpet Wednesday at the Season 2 premiere of the FX series "The Lowdown" in Austin, Texas. The actor, known for his roles in "The Fugitive" and "No Country for Old Men," appeared in good spirits at the event.

Jones was photographed alongside his co-stars, including Ethan Hawke and Ryan Kiera Armstrong. He sported a casual ensemble of a blue button-up shirt, black blazer, and jeans.

In "The Lowdown," Jones portrays Lee Raybon Sr., the estranged father of Hawke's character, Lee Raybon. The crime drama, which follows a self-proclaimed journalist exposing political corruption in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is set to release its second season on October 14.

This red carpet appearance marks a relatively rare public outing for Jones. In 2023, he attended the premiere for the crime thriller "Finestkind" and also appeared in the film "The Burial." This event follows the recent tragic news of his daughter, Victoria Jones, who died on January 1. A report later indicated her death was the result of cocaine intoxication and was ruled an accident.
