Boxer Tommy Fury has stated that his partner Molly-Mae Hague spends approximately £350 per week on groceries for herself and their children. Fury revealed in the "What The Fury?" podcast that he chooses to do his own separate grocery shopping to adhere to his training diet, as he finds Hague's food choices to be primarily "junk food."
Fury described Hague's typical food items as including "toasties and crisps and sweets," which he does not consume. He explained that while Hague manages the main online grocery order, their dietary needs differ significantly. "Molly kind of looks out for her and the baby. But me, I do my own shop. I only eat the food that I buy," Fury said.
This weekly expenditure contrasts with the average UK household food shop, which stands at £119 per week, according to data from confused.com. Social media users reacted to Fury's comments, with some expressing surprise at the cost for two adults and a toddler, while others noted that it might be justifiable for an athlete's specific dietary requirements.
Fury also touched upon his future lifestyle aspirations, suggesting he would be open to living "off grid" and giving up social media in favor of a simpler existence, such as using a Nokia phone. He indicated that this is a topic he has discussed with Hague, and he anticipates a desire for a more peaceful life once their current careers conclude.
The couple welcomed their second child, son Midas, in June, and also have a three-year-old daughter, Bambi. Fury and Hague, who met on the reality television show Love Island in 2019, have been together since resolving a brief separation in 2024.
In other recent news concerning the couple, Hague shared an anecdote about their daughter Bambi's behavior during an outing to Pizza Express, where the toddler reportedly "put someone in a headlock."
