Conservative host and podcaster Tomi Lahren has publicly criticized the Republican Party, questioning the rationale for voting Republican in the upcoming November midterm elections. Lahren expressed frustration that key immigration policies, such as mass deportations, have not been enacted.

"Mass deportations aren’t happening," Lahren stated on X, formerly Twitter. "Most of us are single issue voters on immigration and DHS under Markwayne has decided they would rather appease CNN and MSNBC. Republicans won’t pass Save America, they won’t support the mass deportations we voted for. They haven’t done, frankly, jack shit outside of a tax cut extension."

She further questioned the value of supporting Republican candidates, referencing Senator Susan Collins of Maine and suggesting that the party's policies ultimately align with Democratic outcomes. "In the end, though, what’s really the difference?" Lahren wrote. "Vote Republican, get Democrat policy anyway."

Lahren's remarks come amid recent fatal encounters involving Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations. In Houston, a 52-year-old man, Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, was fatally shot on July 7 during an operation where he was not the intended target. In Maine, Joan Sebastian Guerrero, 26, was also fatally shot on Monday under similar circumstances. In St. Augustine, Florida, a 28-year-old man died after being struck by a tractor-trailer while reportedly fleeing federal agents.

Reports indicate that ICE is advising its agents to pause vehicle stops. However, former President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social, urging ICE to remain strong and utilize traffic stops as a crime-fighting tool. "We must be strong, tough, and smart, and we CANNOT give up one of I.C.E.'s most important and effective Crime Fighting tools, THE TRAFFIC STOP!" Trump wrote.

Lahren later clarified that her criticism was not directed at former President Trump but rather at "disgraceful members of the US Senate who have failed him at every turn." She accused them of betraying the "America First" agenda.

Former Border Patrol commander Greg Bovino supported Lahren's stance, commenting on her post that it was "So well stated!!!"
