Tombstone Pizza Unveils Controversial Candy Corn Topping for Halloween

Tombstone Pizza has introduced a new, limited-time offering for the Halloween season: a pizza topped with candy corn. The company announced the unusual flavor combination, dubbed "The Pizza Nobody Asked For," which is available for $1.31 including shipping.

The limited-edition pizza, available as either cheese or pepperoni with a side of candy corn, can be purchased during three online drops scheduled for October 2, 9, and 23. Tombstone Pizza shared images of the creation on social media, prompting varied responses from consumers.

"Conjured in the spookiest corners of the internet, this Halloween season TOMBSTONE® proudly presents The Pizza Nobody Asked For™," the company stated in a press release. "And frankly, we regret absolutely nothing."

They further added, "Introducing the limited-edition TOMBSTONE® Candy Corn Pizza, an unexpected flavor mashup from The Official Pizza of Halloween®. Candy corn. On pizza. Hear us out… it’s weirdly good."

Social media reactions included comments such as "Insane, but I appreciate this" and "Oh that is blasphemy." Another user expressed concern, stating, "This is gonna be gross." Some noted that while both candy corn and pizza are enjoyable, they should remain separate.

Tombstone Pizza, founded in 1962, is owned by Nestle. This culinary experiment follows another notable candy-pizza collaboration: Heidi Klum's Halloween Butterfinger Pizza available at Crazy Pizza in New York City.
