Tom Welling Accidentally Shares NSFW Photo of Hotel Room Reflection
The 'Smallville' star inadvertently revealed a personal image in a social media post while in New York City for Comic Con.
Tom Welling, known for his role as Clark Kent in the series "Smallville," unintentionally shared a revealing image on his Instagram Stories Friday, accidentally exposing himself in the reflection of his New York City hotel room window. The post, captioned "Hello, NYCC," was made in anticipation of New York Comic Con.
Fans quickly noticed the unintended inclusion in the photo, which depicted the New York City skyline. The image remained on Welling's account for approximately 10 hours before being removed, but screenshots circulated widely on social media.
A representative for Welling did not immediately respond to requests for comment. The 49-year-old actor is currently in New York as a guest at the convention, where the cast of "Smallville" is scheduled to reunite ahead of the show's 25th anniversary on October 16.
"Smallville" originally aired from 2001 to 2011. Welling starred alongside Michael Rosenbaum as Lex Luthor, Kristin Kreuk as Lana Lang, and Erica Durance as Lois Lane. In January, Welling discussed his decision to relocate from Los Angeles during the COVID-19 pandemic, citing a desire for a quieter lifestyle. He and his wife, Jessica Rose Lee, moved to Northern California in 2020 with their son, Thomson Wylde, born in January 2019. The couple married in November of that year.
