Tom Schwartz, a founding cast member of the Bravo reality series "Vanderpump Rules," was recently photographed looking downcast while walking his dogs in Los Angeles. The 43-year-old, who rose to fame on the show since its 2013 premiere, has experienced significant shifts in his career and business ventures.

Schwartz's storylines on "Vanderpump Rules" often centered on his tumultuous relationship with co-star Katie Maloney, whom he married in 2013. Although their initial ceremony was not legally binding, they made their union official in 2019. The couple's relationship ultimately ended in 2022, but they have maintained an amicable relationship, sharing joint custody of their dogs.

Another prominent aspect of Schwartz's time on the show was his close friendship with fellow cast member Tom Sandoval. Their partnership led to business ventures, including the West Hollywood bar TomTom, co-owned with Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd, which remains in operation. However, their restaurant venture, Schwartz & Sandy's, which they owned entirely, closed permanently by the end of 2024. Schwartz has reflected that the restaurant's closure, occurring in the wake of the public scandal involving Sandoval and Raquel Leviss, felt like his "life kind of went up in flames."

In 2024, "Vanderpump Rules" underwent a significant cast overhaul, with the original lineup being replaced. Schwartz has since joined the cast of the show's spin-off, "The Valley," as a regular series participant. He is also reportedly dating model Kiana Carroll, 27, with whom he became Instagram official last year.
