Tom Holland and Zendaya are reportedly planning to create a climate-controlled environment within their home to store Zendaya's custom-made wedding gown, valued at approximately £200,000. The actors, who married in secret in August at the Beaverbrook estate in Surrey, are taking steps to ensure the preservation of the delicate silk garment.

Zendaya is said to be concerned about the long-term care of the dress, which features a high-neck, long-sleeved lace design from Schiaparelli. To prevent discoloration or damage from temperature fluctuations and humidity, the gown needs to be kept between 15 and 18 degrees Celsius. The couple reportedly wishes for the dress to be stored at their home, rather than with a third-party service, to maintain a personal connection to the treasured item.

Sources indicate that the couple, who own properties in London, New York, and California, are looking into installing a dedicated climate-controlled room. This would allow Zendaya to keep the gown safe and accessible should she wish to see or wear it.

Holland and Zendaya, who met in 2016 while filming Spider-Man: Homecoming, have kept details about their marriage private. Zendaya was first seen wearing a gold wedding band in early 2026 while promoting her film The Drama. Her stylist, Law Roach, alluded to attending their intimate wedding in February, though details remained unconfirmed at the time. Holland publicly confirmed their marriage in June, stating he had "found my person" and was "the happiest I've ever been."

The couple held an initial family ceremony, followed by a larger reception at Beaverbrook on August 4, which is estimated to have cost around £500,000.

This reported investment in dress preservation comes as Zendaya has experienced a highly successful year professionally. She was named the highest-grossing actress of 2026, with her films The Drama, The Odyssey, and Spider-Man: Brand New Day achieving significant box office success. Her role as MJ in the Marvel film Spider-Man: Brand New Day has grossed over $2.235 billion worldwide, making it the highest-grossing film of the year. She also reprised her role as Rue Bennett in HBO's Euphoria, earning an Emmy nomination for her performance. Zendaya is also slated to appear in Dune: Part Three, anticipated for release in December.
