Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton Make Rare Red Carpet Appearance

Tom Hiddleston and fiancée Zawe Ashton recently made a rare joint appearance on the red carpet for the premiere of Hiddleston's film, "Tenzing." The actor, known for his role as Loki, was accompanied by Ashton as they celebrated the release of the Tenzing Norgay biopic.

Ashton, who became engaged to Hiddleston in 2022, wore a cream satin gown for the event. The couple, who began their relationship in 2019, have largely kept their family life private since welcoming their first child in October 2022 and a second in November 2025. They have chosen not to publicly share the names or genders of their children.

The premiere appearance follows Hiddleston's recent rare comments on fatherhood. In an interview with Men's Health UK, he described being a parent as a "privilege" and an "honour."

Tom's appearance at the premiere came after the Loki star shared rare insight into his life as a father, saying it's been a 'privilege' to be a parent

"I want to be fit and strong for my children," Hiddleston stated. "I’m so aware that they are watching me and I’m a model for them. It’s such a privilege to be someone’s father. And I mean that humbly. It’s such an honour to live up to what that means."

He emphasized his desire to remain active to engage fully with his children, wanting to "keep up with them" and "play with them." Activities like running, playing football, swimming, and throwing them in the air are his motivations for maintaining his health.

Hiddleston also spoke about the meditative aspect of running, calling it his "happy place" for thinking and problem-solving. He described the birth of his children as a "life-altering" experience.

"Tenzing" chronicles the 1953 ascent of Mount Everest from the perspective of Sherpa climber Tenzing Norgay, who partnered with New Zealand mountaineer Edmund Hillary for the climb. The film is scheduled for release in cinemas on October 9 and will be available on Apple TV+ on October 16.

Hiddleston and Ashton met in 2019 while starring together in the play "Betrayal." They made their red carpet debut as a couple in September 2021, and engagement rumors surfaced in March 2022.
