Tom Cruise Praises Kate Middleton, Calls Her Marriage to Prince William a 'Smart Choice'

Tom Cruise expressed his admiration for Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, describing her as "stunning," "intelligent," and "fun" in a recent interview. His comments came after attending the London premiere of his film "Digger" alongside Prince William and Princess Kate.

When asked about the premiere, Cruise, 64, remarked on Kate's "stunning dress" and praised her as a person. He even playfully addressed Prince William, stating, "Will, way to go! Smart choice," in reference to their marriage.

"They are amazing people. How dedicated they are to their country and what they give to the world," Cruise said of the royal couple. He further elaborated on Kate, noting, "She's very funny. She's got a great sense of humour. Obviously very intelligent and fun."

Cruise's interactions with the Royal Family are not new. He previously assisted Kate at the "Top Gun: Maverick" premiere in May 2022 and has participated in events for the late Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee and the Coronation Concert. He also attended a gala for the London Air Ambulance Charity in February 2024 with Prince William, where the Prince acknowledged Cruise's support and made a lighthearted joke about Cruise borrowing helicopters for future "Mission: Impossible" films.

Cruise's remarks have sparked discussion, with some social media users jokingly commenting on his apparent admiration for the Princess of Wales. While Cruise has spoken positively about members of the Royal Family, a former chef for Princess Diana reportedly claimed that Diana did not view Cruise as a potential romantic interest, citing his height as a reason.
