Tom Brady has become a convert to leather pants, a fashion choice he initially found unexpected. The seven-time Super Bowl champion recently modeled a head-to-toe black leather look for Gucci's fall 2026 campaign, an ensemble he first debuted on the runway.
After his runway appearance in May, Brady shared his thoughts on the attire with GQ. "I'd never really done leather on leather before, but there are some leather pants in my closet now," Brady told the publication. "I thought, 'Damn, that's actually really comfortable.'"
Brady described the experience of walking the runway for Gucci in Times Square as a surreal and unique event, comparing the structured feel of the leather outfit to his football uniform. He acknowledged that while he might not wear such an outfit daily, he values comfort and style in his clothing choices.
Brady, who is now 49 years old, has embraced a new role with the fashion house, appearing as one of the new faces of Demna's Gucci. The campaign features him in the same black leather ensemble he wore for his runway debut.
