Tom Brady, a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders and a FOX lead commentator, has called for a significant overhaul of the team's performance, stating that the organization "underperformed in every area" during the disappointing 2025 season. The Raiders finished with a 3-14 record, which led to them securing the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.

In a recent interview on the "Stick to Football" podcast, Brady emphasized that the lack of success was not attributable to any single individual or group. "There’s nobody who did a good job. There’s not one player in the organization, there’s not anybody involved that did the job to the level that it needs to be done at. And everybody needs to improve. And it starts with me, and it filters down to the rest of the players on the field, and they’ve got to go out there, and ultimately they’ve got to perform at a high level," Brady said.

He expressed an expectation of "massive improvement" across the board following a series of personnel changes made during the offseason. The team hired Klint Kubiak as its new head coach and acquired several new players. In free agency, the Raiders signed quarterback Kirk Cousins and acquired players such as Tyler Linderbaum, Quay Walker, Kwity Payne, Connor Heyward, and Jalen Nailor. With the top pick in the 2026 draft, the team selected quarterback Fernando Mendoza.

The Raiders have not achieved a winning season or made the playoffs since 2021, with their win total failing to exceed eight games in any season since then. The team is set to begin its 2026 season on September 13 against the Miami Dolphins.
