Tom Brady Apologizes for On-Air Expletive Gaffes
The Fox Sports commentator expressed embarrassment over recent on-air profanity.
Tom Brady has apologized to fans for his recent use of expletives while broadcasting for Fox Sports, admitting he is "embarrassed" by the viral moments.
During the first two weeks of the NFL season, Brady has drawn attention on social media for accidentally using profane language live on air. One instance occurred during the Dallas Cowboys' game against the Washington Commanders, when Brady reacted to Jayden Daniels' injury with an expletive before quickly correcting himself.
Later in the same game, Brady described a pass from Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott as a "pi** missile up the sideline."
Speaking on Thursday, Brady stated, "I'm actually kind of embarrassed. There's a lot of grandmas at home that probably aren't very happy with my mouth on Fox. I'm going to fix that. Sorry, I apologize." He added, "That swear jar is getting way too full in my house. My kids are getting way too happy with me filling up that jar."
In a separate incident, Brady experienced technical difficulties during an interview on "The Herd with Colin Cowherd." Throughout the segment previewing the Los Angeles Chargers vs. Buffalo Bills game, Brady repeatedly lost signal and complained about his inability to hear Cowherd's questions. At one point, he was overheard whispering to an assistant, "It keeps cutting out."
Despite Cowherd's attempts to continue, Brady was disconnected and reconnected multiple times. The issue persisted, with Brady eventually stating to his assistant, "Look, Zack, I got nothing. I can't hear anything."
