During a recent "#AskTom" segment with Fox Sports, Brady responded to a fan's question about his "literary upbringing," prompted by a colorful simile he used during a recent Eagles game broadcast. The fan noted Brady's comment about Jalen Hurts dropping a ball "like a butterfly with sore legs," suggesting his English teacher would be proud.

"I’d like to tip my cap to Mr. Ralph Stark, my sophomore English teacher at Junípero Serra High School," Brady stated. "Thank you for all the C+ grades you gave me that helped me continue my athletic career."

Brady elaborated, "I wasn’t the best student, you know that. I was always pretty good at your quizzes. I had a lot of friends that took the test in period two. I had the test in period four, and they helped me with some of the answers."

While the admission is presented with a clear sense of humor, it draws a parallel to past controversies, including the "Deflategate" scandal during his tenure with the New England Patriots.
