Tom Brady Addresses FCC Call Over 'Piss Missile' Comment

NFL legend Tom Brady shared that he received a call from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) after making a colorful comment during a recent broadcast. While calling a Dallas Cowboys game for FOX, Brady described a pass from quarterback Dak Prescott to CeeDee Lamb as an "absolute piss missile."

Brady, who has transitioned to a broadcasting career after retiring from professional football, made the remark during the fourth quarter of the Washington Commanders vs. Dallas Cowboys game. This comment, along with another expletive used when reacting to an injury to Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels, drew attention.

Following the broadcast, Brady took to Instagram to address the incident and its aftermath. He humorously referenced the FCC call in a post, writing, "More miss pissles and a few provolones with cheese no doubt coming up this year… yes, I meant miss pissles, I got a call from the FCC 😂😂😂."

The FCC is responsible for regulating broadcast communications and has rules against obscene, indecent, and profane material. Brady's "piss missile" comment likely fell into this category, prompting the agency's communication.

Despite the FCC's involvement, Brady appeared unfazed, indicating in his post that the call did not result in severe repercussions and that he would continue to offer his insights during broadcasts. He also expressed gratitude for his role with FOX and his colleagues, including Kevin Burkhardt, Erin Andrews, and Tom Rinaldi.
