Toddler Survives Fall From Queens Building; Incident Follows Bronx Tragedy

A 2-year-old boy miraculously survived a fall from a third-story window in Forest Hills, Queens, on Thursday afternoon. Police responded to a call at 102-10 Queens Boulevard around 2:30 p.m. and found the unidentified toddler on the ground with what appeared to be minor injuries.

The boy was transported to Cohen Children’s Medical Center and is currently listed in stable condition. A police source indicated that no criminality is suspected and the incident appears to be an accident. A witness reported that the child was bleeding from his face.

This incident occurred just two days after a tragic event in the Bronx, where an 8-month-old girl survived a fall from a 15-story balcony, but her mother died. The mother's boyfriend, Angel Carrasco, 31, has been charged with murder and attempted murder in that case. The 8-month-old girl, Angel Novalty Carrasco-Ramirez, was reported to be in stable condition at Jacobi Hospital following that incident.
