Toddler Dies in Queensland Car Crash, Infant Seriously Injured

A one-year-old girl has died following a car crash in central Queensland. Emergency services were called to Golden Mile Road in Dysart, approximately 245 kilometers southwest of Mackay, around 9:05 a.m. on Sunday.

Authorities responded to reports of a vehicle leaving the road and rolling. The young girl was pronounced dead at the scene. A five-month-old boy sustained serious injuries.

The driver, a 22-year-old woman from Moranbah, which is about 85 kilometers north of Dysart, received treatment for minor injuries. Queensland Police confirmed that the forensic crash unit is investigating the incident.
