Navy Moores, a three-year-old from Kendal, Cumbria, has become the youngest known person to complete the challenge of scaling all 214 fells detailed in Alfred Wainwright's renowned pictorial guides. The ambitious toddler covered approximately 510 miles with an ascent of nearly 225,000 feet over five months.

His final ascent was England's highest mountain, Scafell Pike, which he reached on Sunday. Instead of a traditional celebration involving Kendal mint cake, Navy requested a pancake with Nutella, a bike ride, and an episode of the children's cartoon Paw Patrol.

Navy was accompanied on his adventures by his father, Daniel Moores, his mother, Leanne Helm, his 14-year-old sister Jessica, and his six-year-old brother Oliver. Mr. Moores, who has experience climbing Mount Everest and cycling around the world, aimed to maintain an adventurous lifestyle for his children.

Initially, Navy was carried in a backpack, but he soon showed a desire to walk alongside his older brother, Oliver. "His interest in walking began as soon as he took his first steps," Mr. Moores told The Times. By May of this year, his parents decided he was ready to attempt the Wainwright Fells Challenge.

Even after completing the extensive challenge, Navy's enthusiasm for hiking remains undimmed. The day after summiting his final fell, he asked his parents if they would go hiking again.
