Todd Bridges Spotted on Rare Public Outing in Los Angeles
The "Diff'rent Strokes" alum was seen running errands in casual attire.
Todd Bridges, known for his role as Willis Jackson on the sitcom "Diff'rent Strokes," was recently seen during a rare public outing in Los Angeles. The 61-year-old actor was spotted on Monday running errands, dressed casually in khaki shorts, a light gray shirt, sneakers, and printed black socks.
Bridges made a stop at a market before navigating a parking structure in the city. The actor, born in San Francisco in May 1965, began his entertainment career in the 1970s.
His early work included guest spots on shows like "Little House On The Prairie" and "The Waltons," along with early roles in "Barney Miller" and the TV movie "Katherine" in 1975. He also appeared in "Police Story" and "The Love Boat."
"Diff'rent Strokes" aired from 1978 to 1986, telling the story of two African-American boys adopted by a wealthy white widower. Bridges continued acting through the 1980s and 90s with roles in "The Ben Stiller Show," "The Sounds Of Silence," "L.A. Heat," and "The Waterfront." He later played Monk in "Everybody Hates Chris" and had a role in the 2026 movie "Skate To Hell."
In April of this year, Bridges filed for divorce from his wife, Bettijo B. Hirschi, in Maricopa County, Arizona. The couple married in September 2022. In court documents, Bridges stated that the marriage was "broken beyond repair." He publicly announced their separation in January, describing it as a "difficult decision" made with "heavy heart" but also "love and gratitude."
Bridges has two children, Spencir and Bo, with his ex-wife Dori Smith, to whom he was married from 1998 to 2012. Hirschi has four children from a previous relationship. Amid the divorce, Hirschi indicated that she and her children are focused on their future and maintaining a stable environment.
