Tobey Maguire Officiates Ex-Wife Jennifer Meyer's Wedding Less Than Three Weeks After Divorce Finalization
The actor played a central role in the Hawaii ceremony for jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer and music executive Geoffrey Ogunlesi, with whom she recently welcomed a child.
Actor Tobey Maguire officiated the wedding of his ex-wife, jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer, to music executive Geoffrey Ogunlesi on Saturday in Hawaii. The ceremony took place at the Four Seasons Resort Lanai, less than three weeks after Maguire and Meyer finalized their divorce, which was legally declared on September 21.
Maguire, 51, was seen in a black suit, beaming as he led the ceremony. He and Meyer, 49, have maintained a close friendship since their separation in 2016 and share two children: Ruby Sweetheart, 19, and Otis Tobias, 17. Meyer spoke highly of their relationship in July 2024, calling Maguire her "best friend" and expressing gratitude for his continued presence in her life.
The wedding guests included notable figures such as Leonardo DiCaprio and his girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti, Courteney Cox and her daughter Coco, Rachel Zoe, and Jeff Bezos with his wife Lauren Sanchez.
Meyer wore a strapless white gown with a long veil for the outdoor ceremony, while Ogunlesi, 34, wore a classic black tuxedo. The couple shared their first kiss as husband and wife following Maguire's conclusion of the nuptials.
Meyer and Ogunlesi welcomed their first child together, a baby daughter, on June 21. They became engaged in August 2024, after first being linked in the summer of 2023.
Maguire and Meyer, who met in 2003, married in 2007 and announced their separation in October 2016. Meyer filed for divorce in October 2020. Their divorce judgment was entered with the Los Angeles Superior Court on October 1, though the couple agreed to a private judge overseeing any outstanding settlement issues. The couple's marital status was terminated, restoring them to single persons.
