Nicole Flender, mother of actor Timothée Chalamet, publicly expressed her support for Kris Jenner following the death of Jenner's mother, Mary Jo Campbell. Campbell, also known as MJ, died 11 days prior to Jenner celebrating what would have been her 92nd birthday.
Flender, whose actor son is dating Jenner's daughter Kylie, commented on a grieving Instagram slideshow posted by Jenner, writing, "So happy I got to know her." Flender, 69, can relate to the loss, having lost her own mother, Enid Flender, in 2022 at the age of 95.
Mary Jo Campbell welcomed Jenner and her late daughter Karen, who died in 2024 at age 65, during an eight-year marriage to her second ex-husband, engineer Robert Houghton, which concluded in 1962. The great-grandmother of 13 had retired at age 82 after establishing businesses such as Candles of La Jolla, Shannon & Company, and a Wall Street children's boutique.
Jenner, a producer and star of "The Kardashians," and her family have been actively involved in filming season eight of their reality series. Kylie Jenner is also a prominent influencer, engaging in paid partnerships with various brands.
Timothée Chalamet is slated to appear in "Dune: Part Three," scheduled for release on December 18. He has been dating Kylie Jenner since 2023, and they were last seen together attending the World Cup final on July 19 with his father, Marc Chalamet. Chalamet will also be part of Kylie Jenner's 29th birthday celebration on August 10.
