TIME Names Inaugural Executives of the Year in Tech and Data
The publication recognizes 50 senior leaders for their influence in shaping business through technology and data adoption.
TIME has unveiled its inaugural list of "TIME Executives of the Year: Tech and Data," celebrating 50 senior leaders whose strategic decisions are guiding the integration and utilization of technology and data within businesses. These honorees, comprising Chief Information Officers (CIOs), Chief Technology Officers (CTOs), Chief Data Officers (CDOs), and chief product officers, are at the forefront of advancing artificial intelligence, enhancing cybersecurity, modernizing digital infrastructure, and transforming operational strategies for major global organizations.
This new list marks the launch of "TIME Executives of the Year," an editorial platform designed to recognize and convene influential figures driving change across critical business functions. TIME intends to extend this franchise into additional sectors in the coming year.
TIME editors noted that at a time when emerging technologies significantly impact the global economy and public discourse, business leaders must not only adapt to rapid industry changes but also anticipate future trends. The recognized executives are identified as catalysts for substantial transformations within enterprises, translating innovation into tangible organizational progress.

The list features prominent figures such as Elizabeth Stone, chief product and technology officer at Netflix; Mikhail Parakhin, chief technology officer at Shopify; Marco Argenti, chief information officer at Goldman Sachs; Suresh Kumar, executive vice president, global chief technology officer, and chief development officer at Walmart; and Franziska Bell, executive vice president and chief technology officer at The Home Depot.
Other honorees include Naveen Zutshi, chief information officer at Databricks; Fiona Tan, chief technology officer at Wayfair; Selena Deckelmann, chief product and technology officer at Wikimedia Foundation; Dennis Hancock, chief information officer and executive vice president at Pfizer; and Gary Brantley, senior vice president and chief information officer at the NFL.
TIME will host a "TIME Impact Dinner - Executives of the Year: Tech and Data" to bring together these leaders for discussions on how technology and data are reshaping modern enterprises. Featured speakers at the event will include Selena Deckelmann of the Wikimedia Foundation, Gary Brantley of the NFL, and Sam Dozor, chief technology officer of Rokt, the premier sponsor of the event.
Additionally, through a branded content partnership with Commvault, TIME recognized Alex Levy of BNSF Railway as the "TIME + Commvault CISO of the Year."
