TIME and Statista Unveil 'America's Growth Leaders 2027' Ranking
A new analysis identifies top-performing U.S. publicly listed companies based on growth, financial stability, and stock performance.

TIME magazine, in collaboration with Statista, has released its "America's Growth Leaders 2027" ranking, spotlighting the highest-performing publicly traded companies in the United States.
The comprehensive analysis evaluated companies across three key dimensions: Growth Performance, Financial Stability, and Stock Performance. To qualify for consideration, companies were required to be headquartered in the U.S., publicly traded, and demonstrate substantial revenue growth over the past five years.
Growth Performance was assessed using data from Statista's revenue database, considering both the relative growth rate and the number of years a company achieved positive growth. Financial Stability was evaluated through profitability metrics, employing standard indicators like the Piotroski F-Score and Altman Z-Score to gauge overall financial health and bankruptcy risk. Industry-specific key performance indicators (KPIs) were also used for sectors such as banking, insurance, and real estate investment trusts (REITs).
The Stock Performance dimension analyzed various KPIs reflecting a company's strength as an investment. This included evaluating average annual growth rates, recent returns, market comparisons, and stock volatility over the preceding five-year period.
Data from these three dimensions were consolidated into a weighted scoring model. Each dimension contributed equally to a company's final score, with a maximum achievable score of 100 points. The top 500 companies achieving the highest scores were recognized as "America's Growth Leaders 2027."
