Country music star Tim McGraw is publicly addressing an onstage mishap that occurred during his recent concert in Ohio. The 59-year-old singer experienced a fall while performing at the Riverbend Music Center on Thursday night. The incident took place as McGraw was singing his 1995 hit song "I Like It, I Love It" as part of his Pawn Shop Guitar Tour.

McGraw responded to the fall with humor, reportedly telling the audience, "There’s a hole there." The following day, he shared a video clip of the fall on Instagram with his nearly four million followers. In the caption, he playfully remarked, "Cincinnati, you started our weekend off on the right foot, even if I couldn’t stay on mine. We appreciate you coming out and singing along! Detroit, you’re up!"

The tour continued with a performance at Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston, Michigan, on Friday. Additional shows are scheduled for Acrisure Amphitheater in Grand Rapids on Saturday and in Snowmass, Colorado, starting September 5.

According to reports, Thursday's show in Ohio began approximately 40 minutes behind schedule due to inclement weather and travel issues.

Earlier in the week, McGraw shared a tribute on social media to the late country singer Dolly Parton, who passed away at age 80. He remembered her as an "icon" who "showed us all what was possible, not only as a human but as an entertainer." McGraw described Parton as "the blueprint" and praised her kindness, grace, and wit, stating that it had been difficult to remain in tears following her death.

McGraw has been married to singer Faith Hill since 1996, and they have three daughters: Gracie, Maggie, and Audrey. Recently, their eldest daughter, Gracie, spoke out about her experience with Ozempic, stating it exacerbated her eating disorder despite initially helping with her polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PMOS) diagnosis.
