The legacy of Tim Curry, the acclaimed actor known for his unforgettable portrayal of Dr. Frank-N-Furter in the 1975 film "The Rocky Horror Picture Show," is being honored with the ongoing Broadway production of "Richard O’Brien’s Rocky Horror Show." The musical, which cemented Curry's early career and has since become a global phenomenon, is currently running at New York City's Studio 54.

Curry's performance in the film, his debut onscreen role, was widely praised. Critic Roger Ebert noted at the time, "He's the best thing in the movie, maybe because he seems to be having the most fun." While initial reviews for the film were mixed, "Rocky Horror" gained a fervent following, evolving into a midnight movie staple, a television movie, and a touring production before its current iteration on Broadway.

The show is scheduled to run eight times a week until February 28, 2027. Ticket prices vary, with some seats available for as low as $84 including fees, while others range from $96 to $549. A promotional code, NYPOST10, offers $10 off purchases over $250 for first-time SeatGeek users.

Leading the current Broadway cast is Paul Soileau as Frank-N-Furter, a role he took over from Luke Evans. Soileau's theater credits include an appearance in Steven Soderbergh's "Out Of Sight." He is set to be succeeded by Jake Shears, frontman of the Scissor Sisters, beginning September 10. The production also features Rachel Dratch as The Narrator, Tony nominee Lorna Courtney as Janet, Grammy-nominated actor Kevin McHale as Brad, and Broadway veteran Amber Gray as Riff Raff.

Following Curry's passing, actor Luke Evans shared a tribute, stating, "There will only be one Tim Curry. All the rest of us will just have to emulate some of the magic of that role I’ve just spent 7 months playing…being compared to you has been one of the greatest compliments I’ve ever received." Evans expressed gratitude for Curry's "fearless performance" and for inspiring "generations of actors to be a little braver."

Other notable works by Tim Curry are available for streaming, including "Annie" and "Clue." The Broadway production of "Richard O’Brien’s Rocky Horror Show" continues to celebrate the daring spirit of Curry's iconic role.
