TikTok employees were evacuated from the company's Los Angeles headquarters on Wednesday afternoon following reports of a possible explosion and a structural fire. The incident occurred around 3 p.m. at the six-story building located at 5800 Bristol Parkway in Culver City.

First responders initially treated the situation as a structure fire, with some reports indicating that individuals might have been trapped in elevators. The term "explosion" was also heard over emergency scanners as police and firefighters converged on the scene. Social media posts circulated, fueling speculation about a blast at the building.

Authorities ultimately evacuated the building, and employees were seen gathering in nearby courtyards and along surrounding streets while the situation was investigated. Despite the alarming reports and the significant emergency response, no major injuries were reported.

Culver City Police Department PIO Jennifer Atenza stated that the incident is believed to have been an electrical fire and that there were no signs of foul play. The fire has since been extinguished, and Southern California Edison will assess the damages.
