Tommy Winkler, the social media personality widely known as 'The Food Guy,' and his wife, Jess Pappas, are expecting their first child. Winkler, who has garnered nearly 13 million followers on TikTok for his food-related content, shared the announcement, telling the Daily Mail that the timing feels ideal for them to begin their journey into parenthood.

Winkler expressed his excitement, stating, "I'm beyond excited." He added, "Even though it's so hard to believe that I'm going to be a parent, I can't fully understand what that's going to be like but I'm eager to learn as I go and I know everything will be alright because I'll be doing it with Jess."

Pappas also shared her enthusiasm for this new chapter, saying, "I couldn't be more excited for this next step in our lives." She reflected on the impending parenthood, noting, "It's hard for me to wrap my head around the fact that I'll be somebody's parent because I still ask my mom questions about everything!"

The couple met as students at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and tied the knot in May at Meyer's Castle in Dyers, Indiana. They have chosen to wait to discover the gender of their baby and are keeping potential names private.

Winkler assured fans that his content creation will continue, even incorporating his wife's pregnancy cravings into future videos. He stated, "I am very excited to start making videos with Jess eating her pregnancy cravings." The couple plans to keep their child's face private initially while still sharing relevant aspects of their lives.

Pappas added that they are focused on making decisions that are "doing what's best" for their child regarding public visibility.

Looking ahead, Winkler shared a piece of advice he intends to follow: "the baby is being born into our lives, not the other way around." He emphasized their desire to continue traveling and maintaining their lifestyle, acknowledging the new responsibility of parenthood without halting their lives.

Pappas indicated that they are open to expanding their family in the future, despite the current challenges of pregnancy. "We definitely do want more children in the future," she told the Daily Mail. "We are excited to settle down in the aspect of getting a forever home and having children but we definitely still want to continue to travel and include our kids in our crazy experiences."
