TikTok Influencer Known for Height Difference Dies at 26
Xiao Yue, a 7ft 2in influencer who documented her relationship with her 5ft 5in husband, passed away Monday due to complications from pituitary gigantism and diabetes.
A 7ft 2in influencer famed for her height-difference relationship has died at the age of 26. Xiao Yue, a Chinese TikTok creator, passed away on Monday, her husband Zihao announced.
Xiao Yue reportedly suffered from pituitary gigantism, a rare condition caused by excessive growth hormones, as well as secondary diabetes. In July 2026, Zihao informed followers that his wife's health had worsened, explaining she had been diagnosed with a pituitary tumor and a meningioma, a tumor that grows in the protective membranes surrounding the central nervous system.
These conditions led to severe hyperglycemia, kidney failure, and other complications, according to Yangzte News. Xiao Yue had been scheduled to undergo surgery to remove the tumor from her brain, but she died before the procedure could take place.
"The doctor told me it was actually a very mild condition it would just be a minimally invasive procedure to remove the tumor from her brain," Zihao said in his tribute. "I never imagined this disease would take someone's life."
He added that his spouse was now free from pain and illness and prayed for her peace, joy, and freedom from suffering. Zihao also acknowledged Xiao Yue's upbeat personality, stating, "No matter what people said about her, she would always fulfill their requests."
Xiao Yue's final social media post was dated August 18, with a caption that read: "Even though life is full of hardships, there is still warmth to hold me up."
The couple, who had been together for four years, had garnered a significant following by documenting their daily lives online. Xiao Yue, from Sichuan, towered over her 5ft 5in husband, and they welcomed a son in October 2025.
Following the news, followers shared their condolences on Xiao Yue's profile. Many expressed shock at the suddenness of her death, with some recalling watching her videos just days prior. Comments described her as a "brave and sunny girl" who is now at peace.
The family plans to hold a simple funeral without a memorial service, in accordance with Xiao Yue's wishes.
