TikTok influencer Alyshia Rushing, known online as 'Mama-A,' died at age 26 in a fatal car crash over the weekend in Montgomery, Alabama. The crash occurred on Saturday, August 22, on I-85 between the Taylor Road and Chantilly Parkway exits. Rushing, who had amassed over half a million followers on the platform, was identified by police as one of the victims.
Another individual, identified as 20-year-old Landon Dunn, was also killed in the collision. A male passenger in Rushing's vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
Rushing was recognized for her vlog-style videos, which often featured her four children. Her content included daily routines, errands, and aspects of her life as a stay-at-home mother. Her final post before her death was a sponsored advertisement for a wig company.
A GoFundMe campaign has been established by Rushing's family to support her four children: Karter, Raelynn, Zoey, and Aydan. The fundraiser aims to provide financial stability for the children, who are now primarily under the care of their father. Donations are intended to cover immediate and ongoing needs such as food, clothing, housing, school expenses, transportation, childcare, and counseling.
Landon Dunn's family has also created a separate GoFundMe page in his honor. Dunn was a member of the U.S. Marine Corps.
