Tiger Woods and Vanessa Trump are offering each other significant support as they individually face difficult periods. A source close to the couple told Page Six that Trump has been a steadfast presence for Woods, paralleling his support during her battle with breast cancer.
"They're both going through incredibly difficult things in their own lives, and they've really leaned on each other and given each other a lot of strength through all of it," the source stated.
Trump demonstrated her support on Wednesday by accompanying Woods to a Florida courthouse for a hearing where he accepted a plea deal related to his earlier DUI arrest. The pair arrived at the Martin County Courthouse in Stuart holding hands, and Trump remained by Woods' side throughout the proceedings. Woods reportedly looked to Trump frequently during the brief hearing and smiled at her after signing the plea agreement.
"It meant so much to Tiger to have Vanessa there with him in court," the source added. "She wanted to be by his side and support him."
Woods pleaded no contest to reckless driving and refusing a lawful chemical test. As part of the agreement, his DUI charge was reduced. He received a $1,500 fine and had his driver's license suspended for five years. The judge cautioned that driving during the ban could result in jail time.
This hearing followed Woods' completion of a six-week inpatient treatment program in Switzerland after his March arrest.
"Vanessa is incredibly supportive of Tiger and really proud of the way he's been handling everything going on in his life," the insider said. "She knows this hasn't been an easy time for him, and she's been there encouraging him every step of the way."
Conversely, Woods has reciprocated this support throughout Trump's cancer diagnosis. Trump revealed in May that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer and was developing a treatment plan after a procedure.
"Tiger has been that same source of support for Vanessa throughout her cancer battle," the insider noted.
The source indicated that their shared experiences have strengthened their bond. "They've both seen each other at their most vulnerable, and everything they've gone through has only brought them closer."
The couple, who confirmed their relationship in March 2025, are described as being "very serious about each other and really feel like they're a team."
