Tiger Woods and Vanessa Trump have reportedly discussed marriage, with their relationship described as stronger than ever following a challenging year for both. The couple, who confirmed their relationship in March 2025, have navigated Woods's March DUI arrest and Trump's April breast cancer diagnosis, with these difficulties seemingly bringing them closer.
A source told Page Six that the pair are "very serious about each other and absolutely see a future together." While marriage has been discussed, the source clarified that "a proposal is not necessarily around the corner." The insider added that overcoming difficult times has demonstrated their reliance on one another.
Woods and Trump, the former daughter-in-law of President Trump, publicly revealed their relationship on social media in March 2025, after having reportedly been dating since Thanksgiving 2024. Woods previously divorced model Elin Nordegren in 2010, with whom he has two children. Trump was married to Donald Trump Jr. from 2005 to 2018, and they have five children together.
Reports indicate that the couple's families have also grown closer. The source noted that "Kai absolutely adores Woods and Trump gets along great with his kids, too." They added that the families "genuinely enjoy spending time together as a family."
Trump publicly announced her breast cancer diagnosis in May, undergoing a "procedure" and later surgery. Woods was reportedly by her side throughout her treatment. In June, she issued a statement indicating recovery from surgery and preparation for the next stage of treatment. A photo shared by Kai Trump showed Woods with Vanessa and her family celebrating her all-clear from cancer.
Trump has also offered public support to Woods following his March DUI arrest in Jupiter, Florida. He pleaded no contest to reckless driving and refusal to submit to a lawful test in September, receiving a five-year license suspension. Police reported finding two opioid tablets in Woods's possession at the time of the arrest.
Despite her support, sources close to the couple indicated that Trump had warned Woods that another "humiliating incident" would be a "deal breaker." The sources suggested that Trump has made it clear to Woods that he needs to address his issues if he wishes to continue the relationship.
