Tiffany Olin, a familiar face on ABC30 in Fresno, has left the Disney-owned station to join KVVU-TV, the Fox affiliate in Las Vegas. She will serve as the weekday weather anchor for the station’s 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. newscasts.
Olin’s departure marks the latest in a series of exits from ABC30’s on-air talent in recent months. She is the third on-air personality to leave the Fresno station in just two months.
"Three years at ABC30 flew by faster than I could’ve imagined," Olin wrote in a social media post announcing her departure. "Thank you Central CA for letting me share your news, weather and sports stories!"
Olin joined ABC30 after a tenure in Medford, Oregon, where she worked as a weather forecaster, a multimedia journalist covering news and sports, and a digital producer. In Fresno, she continued to balance multiple roles, serving as both a weather anchor and reporter during her three years at the station. Her work at ABC30 included coverage of the 2025 Los Angeles wildfires, for which she received an Emmy nomination in June. This was one of two Emmy nominations she received during her time with the station.
Her exit follows that of city hall reporter Gabe Ferris, who left ABC30 in mid-July to join sister station ABC7 in Chicago as a general assignment reporter. Ferris had previously interned in ABC’s Washington bureau in 2022.
Prior to Ferris, longtime sports director and anchor Stephen Hicks signed off in June after eight years with ABC30. Hicks relocated to Southern California to be with his wife, television journalist Hunter Sowards. Sydney Berger has since been promoted to sports director at ABC30 to fill the vacancy left by Hicks.
