A caller, identifying himself as James from Virginia, expressed significant dissatisfaction with former President Donald Trump and the Republican Party on SiriusXM’s “The Megyn Kelly Wrap-Up Show.” The audio clip of the exchange was shared online by the nonprofit research center Media Matters for America.

“I’m a three-time Trump voter. There’s no way in hell that I’m voting for another Republican that supports this guy,” James stated, indicating he would not vote for any Republican who continues to back Trump.

James criticized Trump’s policies, citing “tariffs” and a “Hormuz deal” as examples of failures. He also called for an end to what he described as “boomer brain melt” and a return to common sense. He specifically criticized the approach to the conflict with Iran, which he stated Trump initiated. James argued that the conflict has put the United States in a worse economic and military position, stating, “Our standing in the world, we are a joke.” He compared the current situation to the Vietnam War, asserting that the country is in a significantly worse position now than it was a decade ago.

“The boomer brain melt needs to stop,” James urged, advising listeners to stop watching Fox News.”
