A violent incident on Wednesday left three students injured and two in custody at Westchester Community College, according to disturbing video footage that captured the bloody campus brawl. The incident occurred outside the David Swoope Student Center at the suburban college.

Footage shows multiple students scuffling on the ground, with one individual falling and appearing to be covered in blood as others repeatedly yell "Stop!". Eyewitness accounts indicate a knife was involved in the altercation. One woman is heard in the video exclaiming, "They had a knife."

One student eyewitness described the scene, stating, "I was just on my way back to class and then we see a fight break out. The two boys dropped to the floor, and there was just blood everywhere." The student recounted assisting one of the injured individuals, saying, "He was just bleeding out and somebody passed me a sweater and I’m just trying to stop the blood. And the two that did it are just like running around. It’s insane."

According to the student, one victim sustained a stab wound to the back, and another was injured in the head. The altercation is believed to have stemmed from a dispute that escalated over two days. Amidst the chaos, an individual dressed in the college's mascot costume, "Chester the Viking," was reportedly among the onlookers.

Westchester County police confirmed they responded to a 911 call at the Valhalla campus around 12:40 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found three students injured. Two individuals were taken into custody.

Further details regarding the incident have not been released by the police, and college officials have not yet issued a statement. Another student described the event as "random," expressing shock that such an incident occurred near them. Westchester Community College, part of the SUNY system, has an enrollment of approximately 9,700 students.
