A shooting in the parking lot of a McDonald's in Brooklyn's New Lots neighborhood late Monday left a teenage girl and two men injured, according to authorities.

The incident occurred just before midnight on Pennsylvania Avenue. A 17-year-old girl was struck multiple times in the body. A 19-year-old man sustained a gunshot wound to the face, and an 18-year-old man suffered a minor facial cut after falling during the chaos. All three victims were transported to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center and are expected to survive, police said.

Investigators have not yet identified any suspects. However, law enforcement is focusing on a white Honda Pilot found in the parking lot, which reportedly had a blood stain above the rear bumper and a bullet hole in the front windshield.

The shooting occurs amid a reported increase in gun violence involving juveniles in the city. Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch noted earlier in the month that through June, 22% of all suspects in shooting incidents were under the age of 18, an increase from 19% in 2025, despite an overall reduction in shootings.
