Thomas Markle's Granddaughter Not Surprised by Child Porn Allegations

Thomas Markle’s granddaughter, Noelle Rasmussen, has stated that the child pornography allegations against her 82-year-old grandfather are not surprising, citing a feeling that there was always “something off” about him.

Rasmussen, the niece of Meghan Markle, shared her sentiments in an interview with The Telegraph, released Tuesday, five days after reports surfaced of an investigation into Markle over a collection of alleged pornography.

“It doesn’t surprise me,” Rasmussen told the outlet. “The more and more I think about it… it just doesn’t. I don’t know why it’s not a surprise.” Rasmussen, whose mother is Samantha Markle, the Duchess of Sussex’s half-sister, described her interactions with her grandfather as infrequent but noted a subconscious feeling of unease.

“Maybe it was a vibe that I subconsciously got… something’s not right about a person, and you don’t actively register it. But your body tells you when something’s off,” she said.

Rasmussen emphasized that she was never a victim of her grandfather's alleged actions but expressed concern that others might have been. “I’m glad that I had never been victimised or had the chance to be victimised,” she stated, adding, “I don’t think he would attack family, but when you do not know what somebody’s capable of, you can’t assume.”

She also voiced dismay over reports that a letter detailing concerns about Markle, written in 2019 by his ex-wife Roslyn Loveless, was allegedly lost by UK police and not forwarded to the FBI. “It blows my mind,” Rasmussen commented on the apparent failure to investigate the allegations sooner. “That is a failure on the police’s part… that is such a failure of the system. It’s embarrassing.”

Meghan Markle has reportedly expressed deep distress regarding the allegations involving her father.
