A thirteenth Metropolitan Police officer has been dismissed as a consequence of the BBC Panorama investigation into the force's Charing Cross station. PC Mason O'Connor was sacked after a disciplinary hearing found he had breached standards of professional behaviour.
The breach related to a comment the officer allegedly made to a female colleague while off-duty in October 2024, the Met confirmed. A hearing on Tuesday determined that O'Connor had violated professional standards concerning authority, respect and courtesy, equality and diversity, and discreditable conduct.
O'Connor's dismissal follows the broadcast of the Panorama program in October 2025, which triggered a wider investigation by the Met. The undercover documentary had previously exposed other officers from the station making racist remarks, boasting about excessive force, and joking about rape and sexual assault.
