Dale Schultz, 66, of Salt Lake City, has been identified as the third victim of a mass shooting at an In-N-Out restaurant over the weekend. His wife, Reinette Schultz, remains in critical condition after also being injured in the rampage.

The couple had stopped at the restaurant on their way home from a family reunion on Saturday when a gunman, identified as Chad Williams, 24, opened fire. According to a friend, John Rohrbaugh, the Schultz's were shot through the windshield of their Tesla at close range. Dale Schultz succumbed to his injuries, while Reinette was transported to a local hospital.

Reinette Schultz has undergone at least two reconstructive surgeries and is facing a long period of physical and emotional recovery. A deacon at St Olaf's Catholic Church, Scott Dodge, described her condition as having "good moments" followed by the "overwhelming reality of the tragedy."

An online fundraiser has been established to support Reinette with her medical expenses and Dale's funeral costs. The fundraiser notes that Dale was a "beloved member of the family, remembered for his kindness and the love he shared with Reinette."

The shooting, which occurred on Saturday, resulted in three fatalities and seven injuries before the gunman died by suicide. The victims included both customers and employees of the restaurant.

Three people were killed and seven others were injured in the rampage before the gunman, identified as Chad Williams, 24, turned the gun on himself
