Leicestershire Police have made a third arrest in connection with the death of George Glover, 27, who died after being punched while cycling. A 24-year-old man was arrested Friday on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder and remains in custody.

Authorities reported that Glover was assaulted on Narborough Road, near the junction with Noel Street, around 6:30 a.m. BST on Monday. He was taken to the hospital, where he died on Thursday. The investigation is being led by officers from the East Midlands Special Operations Unit.

Two other individuals, a 31-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman, were previously arrested on suspicion of robbery and conspiracy to commit murder. They also remain in custody.

In a statement released Friday, Glover's family described him as a "loving and loyal" son and brother. "His loss is already felt so deeply," they said, adding they were "so proud of the young man he'd become."

Detectives are continuing to appeal for anyone with information or any relevant footage to come forward, assuring potential witnesses that it is not too late to assist the inquiry.
