Thierry Henry Relists Soho Penthouse for $25 Million

Soccer legend Thierry Henry has relisted his expansive Soho penthouse for $25 million, seeking to sell the property after previously listing it for $26.75 million last year. The residence, located at 39 Crosby Street, was initially purchased by Henry and his partner, Andrea Rajacic, in 2010 for $14.85 million. They combined two units into the roughly 6,086-square-foot home.

The penthouse features five bedrooms, five full bathrooms, and two powder rooms, along with approximately 3,400 square feet of private outdoor space spread across multiple terraces. The asking price translates to about $4,108 per square foot.

Henry, a former star for Arsenal and FC Barcelona, joined the New York Red Bulls in 2010. He and Rajacic lived in the penthouse full-time for about five years before relocating to London after his retirement from professional soccer in late 2014. While they retained the Manhattan property for use during visits, their trips became less frequent over time.

The couple had first attempted to sell the penthouse last year, but withdrew it from the market before relisting it this week with a reduced price. "We were and still are in love with the place," Henry told The Wall Street Journal, describing his departure from New York as "very difficult."

The home boasts soaring ceilings, expansive walls of glass offering views of the Brooklyn and Williamsburg bridges, and direct access to a private rooftop with areas for dining and lounging. Notable features include a gas fireplace, a private primary suite with its own terrace, and multiple living and entertaining spaces. The building, a converted cast-iron and brick structure originally from the 1870s, offers keyed elevator access and deeded parking spaces, amenities described as rare for the Soho area. The property also includes about 250 square feet of private storage.
