Thierry Henry Lists NYC Penthouse for $25 Million
The soccer legend and his wife are selling their five-bedroom SOHO residence, which they purchased for $14.85 million in 2010.
Soccer icon Thierry Henry has put his New York City penthouse on the market for $25 million. The five-bedroom residence, located at 39 Crosby Street in Manhattan's SOHO neighborhood, was the first property Henry and his wife, Andrea Rajacic, viewed when house-hunting in 2010 ahead of his move to the New York Red Bulls. Rajacic recalled telling Henry to "close your mouth" during the viewing to conceal their strong interest from the realtor.
They purchased the penthouse for $14.85 million and are now seeking a significant profit. The couple had previously listed the home for $26.75 million in early 2025 but withdrew it from the market, as they were not yet ready to leave New York. Henry, who now resides in London, told The Wall Street Journal that leaving New York was difficult and that he and Rajacic "were and still are in love with the place."
The couple lived in the penthouse full-time for five years after Henry retired from soccer in 2014, after which they established London as their primary residence. Over the years, they renovated the 6,086-square-foot space multiple times, combining it with the unit below and adding a pergola and a barbecue area to their private rooftop. The rooftop features views of the Williamsburg and Brooklyn Bridges, along with ample greenery.
The barbecue area is equipped with a large grill, a stainless steel hood, a sink, and a small refrigerator. The rooftop also includes a covered section for lounging and enjoying city views.
Inside, the kitchen boasts a long marble island, ample cabinet and countertop space, and integrated appliances. The living room features a fireplace and large windows that capture city light.
The couple decided to sell the home as their visits to New York became less frequent. Rajacic expressed her enduring affection for the city, stating, "No matter where we were coming back from, that was always where I was really dying to return to."
The penthouse was previously owned by musicians Alicia Keys and Lenny Kravitz, according to the listing agent.
