A hooded thief was captured on CCTV kicking an "honesty box" full of cash from the wall of a cake shed and taking it. The incident occurred at "Mum Made Meals," a delivery business in Grantham, Lincolnshire, run by Lee and Laura McCann.

This latest theft, which took place on July 19, is one of 11 incidents the couple has experienced at their shed. The repeated thefts have forced the business, which caters to late-night customers including shift workers, to stop accepting cash payments and close the shed by 9 p.m. daily.

CCTV footage shows the intruder entering the shed just before midnight. The thief is seen checking shelves before targeting the cash box, kicking it forcefully off the wall. The box contained between £50 and £150. Hours later, a second individual wearing similar clothing returned and dislodged the surveillance camera.

Earlier in the month, on July 14, another incident saw a person, who appeared to be a child, ransack the 10ft by 4ft shed for cakes. The McCanns believe their business is being targeted by a small group who may be selling the cakes and using the cash to fund drug use.

Lee McCann described the impact of the thefts, noting that while many customers, including night-shift workers and emergency service personnel, have been honest, a "small group of people" are targeting the business.

The couple has started a fundraiser to purchase vending machines for the business, which has already received over £500 in donations. The McCanns plan to report the most recent theft to the police. Lincolnshire Police confirmed an investigation into the July 14th theft is ongoing.
