Thekla acknowledged that missing AEW's All In event at Wembley Stadium, despite her disappointment, may have been beneficial for her career trajectory. The 33-year-old Austrian star's 165-day reign as AEW Women's World Champion concluded in July with a loss to Willow Nightingale, preventing her from competing at the London event.

"Some part of me was obviously upset because it’s f–king Wembley. It’s in front of 50,000 people in Europe, which I haven’t even remotely done," Thekla stated. "It would have been the biggest gig of my life so far. But I like that I’m still in the [title] case. … You have to be a little humble and you have to know your moment."

The time off also afforded her a personal trip to Cabo. Thekla views such occurrences as an inevitable part of professional wrestling, even after a strong start to her AEW career.

She is now setting her sights on a potential rematch with Willow Nightingale and a future confrontation with Mercedes Moné. Thekla's championship reign ended just before All In, with Nightingale going on to face Moné, the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament winner, later that month. Thekla's absence from the major Wembley event has led her to redefine her focus and upcoming chapter in AEW, with the All Out event now serving as her next major target.
