New episodes of the ABC daytime talk show "The View" will not air this week as the program takes its annual hiatus for the Fourth of July holiday and associated America250 events. Instead, the network is broadcasting previously taped episodes.

"The View" typically does not broadcast live shows during the week leading up to the July 4 holiday. This practice allows for a break for the hosts and production staff while still providing content for viewers.
The daytime talk show is scheduled to return with new episodes on Monday, July 6.
