The Strokes to Play Flushing Meadows Corona Park for NYC Homecoming Show

The Strokes are set to perform at Queens' Flushing Meadows Corona Park on Friday, Oct. 2, as part of their ongoing "Reality Awaits Tour." The concert will feature special guests TV on the Radio, Beach House, and Fcukers. The event is described as a "massive open-air show" that will transform the iconic public space into a celebration of music.

Last-minute tickets for the show are currently available. General Admission passes start at $270 including fees, while VIP passes begin at $476 including fees. VIP packages include access to a dedicated area with shade, seating, upgraded drink options, air-conditioned restrooms, and an expedited entry lane near the Unisphere.

This concert marks the final stop on The Strokes' North American tour before they head to Europe and Australia. The band's latest album, "Reality Awaits," was released on July 24. According to Set List FM, The Strokes typically perform around 21 songs per concert, often including fan favorites such as "Reptilia," "What Ever Happened?," "Hard to Explain," "Someday," and "Last Nite," alongside tracks from their new album and the Grammy-winning "The New Abnormal."

Recent reviews have highlighted the band's performance quality. A review from Under The Radar Mag of a June show in Chicago noted the band's "tightness and sharpness" and stated their "musicianship eclipsed their celebrity."

Following the New York City performance, The Strokes are scheduled for European dates in London, Amsterdam, Dusseldorf, Berlin, Caslecchio di Reno, Barcelona, Paris, Newcastle upon Tyne, and Manchester in October.
