The 'Ruthless Podcast' Brings its Conservative Political Commentary to Fox News Channel

The "Ruthless Podcast," hosted by Josh Holmes, Comfortably Smug, John Ashbrook, and Michael Duncan, will air a special live episode on Fox News Channel this Sunday from 12 noon to 1 p.m. ET. The broadcast comes as the midterm elections approach.

The podcast, which launched in October 2020, aims to inject fun into conservative politics and provide listeners with an inside look at elections and policy from individuals with experience in Washington.

Holmes, a Republican strategist, and internet personality Comfortably Smug (Shashank Tripathi) co-founded "Ruthless." Holmes previously served as chief of staff to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and has decades of campaign experience. Comfortably Smug brings a background in finance and is known for his role as a political social media pioneer.

Michael Duncan and John Ashbrook, who work with Holmes at their consulting firm Calvary, later joined the podcast. Ashbrook, with decades of experience advising Republican politicians, offers insights into political media and how it covers various topics. Duncan, an expert in online organizing and advertising, contributes his knowledge of digital politics.

The "Ruthless Podcast" has been expanding its reach, having previously established a licensing deal with FOX News Media last year. The hosts have also produced the "Ruthless Midterm Interview Series," which featured interviews with candidates in 19 states. The podcast typically releases new episodes on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, with an additional Wednesday recording during election seasons.
