The Ritz-Carlton Naples in Florida has been recognized as one of the world's premier resorts, earning the 10th position in Condé Nast Traveller's 2026 Readers' Choice Awards. The awards, based on nearly 800,000 reader votes, highlight top hospitality destinations globally.

The Ritz-Carlton Naples, which overlooks the Gulf of Mexico, was noted for offering guests "expansive layouts and sweeping ocean views." A limited view king-sized room for two guests was priced from £813 per night for stays between June 12-19. This marks a significant acknowledgment for the Florida property among a competitive international field.

Other US resorts also featured on the list, underscoring the country's strong showing in luxury hospitality. Among them was Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz, New York, ranking 13th. Condé Nast Traveller specifically praised its "mountaintop sanctuary" and "world-class dining," as well as the variety of activities and its spa services. Prices for a classic room package for two started at $1,396 (£1,055) per night.

Paws Up Montana in Greenough, Montana, secured the 17th spot, offering guests a luxury ranch experience across 37,000 acres of wilderness. Rates for two guests in November began at $3,134 (£2,370) per night.

Massachusetts also had a representative with Chatham Bars Inn, an ocean-front resort set on 25 acres with its own farm, ranking 18th. A room for two in November was priced from $391 (£295.80) per night.

Montage Big Sky in Montana placed 21st, featuring 139 rooms, suites, and residences, along with an 11,000-square-foot spa. A resort view room for two guests during November 22-29, 2026, started at $738 (£558) per night.

Florida was further represented by The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburón, at 22nd place. Described as a sanctuary for couples and families, a limited view room for two guests from June 12-19, 2027, started at £528 per night.

JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa in Florida ranked 23rd, noted for its appeal to sports enthusiasts with two 18-hole championship golf courses and tournament-grade pickleball and padel courts. A resort view king room with a balcony for two guests during June 12-19, 2027, was priced from £295 per night.

California's Appellation Healdsburg, which opened in September 2025, was recognized at 24th place, praised for its location in Sonoma Wine Country and a rooftop bar. A superior king room for two guests from June 12-19, 2027, was priced from $643.43 (£486.77) per night.

Globally, the top honor went to Cheval Blanc Seychelles, a retreat featuring 52 private-pool villas nestled between jungle and crystal-clear waters. A Jungle Hill Villa was priced at $2,080 (£1,575) per night. Other international high-ranking resorts included Porto Zante Villas & Spa in Greece at second place, and Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, in Bali, Indonesia, at third.
