Texts Reveal Supportive Exchanges Between Accused Killer and Fellow Officer
Messages show alleged murderer Beau Lamarre-Condon discussing monitoring his ex-boyfriend's phone with a friend.
Newly revealed text messages indicate that Beau Lamarre-Condon, the police officer accused of murdering Jesse Baird and Luke Davies, discussed his actions concerning Baird's phone with a fellow officer before the alleged double homicide. The exchanges, obtained by Daily Mail, show Lamarre-Condon informing a close friend, identified as Nicole Harvell, that he was reviewing Baird's phone and sending him insulting messages.
In one exchange, Lamarre-Condon stated he was looking through Baird's phone, to which Harvell responded with apparent support. The texts also show Lamarre-Condon detailing plans to lie to Baird about his intentions. He further informed Harvell that he had sent a message to Baird's new partner, describing Baird as a "manipulative player." Harvell's replies included affirmations such as "It's worded PERFECTLY" regarding an insulting text Lamarre-Condon sent.
Further messages show Lamarre-Condon seeking Harvell's advice on which photograph to upload to Instagram. He also shared an Instagram story with a select group of friends, excluding Baird, which implied a relationship between them that did not exist. The context suggests this was an attempt to fabricate a situation to prove something to Baird.
The alleged murders occurred on February 19. The released texts provide a glimpse into Lamarre-Condon's state of mind and communications in the period leading up to the events.
